The King of the Jungle

The lion is a lot of people's favorite big cat because of it's magnificent mane! Lions are pack animals, they live in a pride. Usually, the female lions go hunting while the males defend the territory from other males. Even tho the females caught the pray, the male eats first! Why? Because the male defended their territory, and in respect he is the king of the jungle.  Lions mostly live in Africa, and you may have seen one in the zoo. Lions are just gorgeous animals aren't they?
